The designer brings nature and nostalgia into his opening present for FDCI x LFW, kickstarting the primary on-ground trend week after the pandemic

After two lengthy years, New Delhi noticed its first bodily trend present. On a breezy March night, couturier Rahul Mishra opened the FDCI x Lakmé Vogue Week on the Italian embassy’s lawns. “The gathering is a continuation of our Paris couture line, The Enchanted. Mountain blooms and organza pleats

Spring blooms took centrestage on March 22, with intricately embroidered, gossamer-thin veils sweeping the bottom and including to the drama. The lineup went from mushy pastels to ivory, yellow and pops of color like royal blue, sundown orange and crimson pink. Organza, chanderi, chikankari, Mishra’s signature 3D appliqué, and resham thread work merged fantastically within the co-ord units, floor-skimming robes, assertion jackets, cocktail attire, light-weight saris, and bridal lehengas that the fashions stepped out in. We noticed Himalayan poppies, hollyhocks, irises, Aztec hibiscus, and buttercups labored in intricate element on the garments.
